Oliver Barie

Oliver is a partner at Sagamore Legal and is licensed to practice in Indiana.

Born and raised in upstate New York, Oliver moved to Indiana in 2013 where he became a government relations professional. He quickly developed a reputation as a tireless advocate for his clients; unafraid to learn complex legislative issues, and always putting the client's needs at the forefront of the Indiana General Assembly. His experience includes work with Hoosier-owned small businesses, local units of government, and Fortune 50 companies. 

Oliver prides himself on his ability to simplify complex matters such that his clients can better understand the circumstances of their situation. He takes seriously his duty to inform and educate his clients as to the legal issue at hand. He believes no legal decision should be made until the client is well informed and comfortable with the decision being made.

While working full time, Oliver attended law school at night. He is a graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and obtained a B.S. in Political Science at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. 

In his spare time, Oliver enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and reading about American history - especially presidential biographies.
